YOUNG MUMS LEARNING PROGRAMME

CREATIVE MOVEMENT PLAY
This training, originally designed to support young parents, has provided opportunities for extending partnerships and gain more valuable funding over the year.
The work is an innovative approach to child development, supporting children's need for movement, sensory input, plus recognition of feelings and images, as primary for establishing the neurological pathways which enable later learning to happen.

Manor/Castle Development Fund's Community Chest has supported work with young people with special needs at Woodthorpe Integrated Club, groups at Wybourn and Manor, and training for health professionals and teachers in the area.

Sheffield Children's Fund has backed our partnership with Sheffield Young Carers for sessions with Activity groups and training for workers,and a partnership with north Sheffield Education Action Zone for further training. We also provided training for Sheffield Young Children's Service.
