YOUTH WORK TRAINING

YASY is an ABC accredited centre and delivers R.V.Q and N.V.Q courses in youth work. These courses are recognised by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (Q.C.A) and also as the first level qualification for youth work.

There are some very interesting developments in youth work training on the horizon. YASY is in touch nationally with the development of a Modern Apprenticeship Programme and a Level 4 N.V.Q which is the equivalent of the current qualifications delivered in Universities.

YASY also offers an Introduction to Work with Young People. This programme is aimed at people with little or no previous experience of youth work and the course can attract an ASDAN award.
