YASY supports unemployed people as they undertake the ILM programme full time for one year, offering personal support and inbuilt and recognised vocational training.
YASY offers a wide range of posts including administrative and office work, youth work, project assistants, I.T. workers and maintenance work.
Since the beginning of the New Deal seven years ago, YASY has worked closely with the Centre for Full Employment, the Department of Work and Pensions, local Job Centres and other organisations. YASY aims to ensure the success of the New Deal programme and of offer genuine opportunites to unemployed people enabling them to get work and make a contribution to their communities.
